Job Description
Are you a keen observer with an eye for detail and a passion for improving public services? AECOM is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Public Transit Secret Rider in The Woodlands, TX. In this stable, full-time role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating the quality, safety, and efficiency of local public bus and train services by riding various routes and observing all aspects of the passenger experience. Your objective feedback will directly contribute to service enhancements and ensuring a high standard of public transportation for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly ride assigned public transit routes (buses and potentially trains, if applicable) during various times of day and week.
- Observe and meticulously document service quality, including vehicle cleanliness, driver professionalism, adherence to schedules, and route efficiency.
- Evaluate passenger safety protocols and adherence by transit staff.
- Assess the overall customer experience, including accessibility for diverse passengers, communication of information, and responsiveness of staff.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, operational deficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Complete detailed and objective evaluation reports following each ride, providing clear, concise, and actionable feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding your role and observations.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and transit authority regulations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain discreet and objective while performing duties.
- Strong written communication skills for clear and concise report generation.
- Reliability and excellent time management.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools for reporting (e.g., smartphone apps, web forms).

- No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
