Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Apple Account Auditor with a strong focus on accuracy and finance to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of client accounts related to Apple product sales, services, and financial transactions. You will ensure compliance with contractual agreements, internal policies, and financial regulations, identifying discrepancies and providing actionable insights to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This is a work-from-home position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of accountability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed audits of Apple-related client accounts, including sales data, commission structures, revenue recognition, and payment processing.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data against contractual terms and internal records.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or potential fraudulent activities in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) and external stakeholders to resolve audit findings.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, detailing findings, risks, and recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
- Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Develop and implement robust audit methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on financial best practices related to Apple account management.
- Stay informed of changes in Apple's financial policies, product offerings, and relevant industry regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, or account management, preferably with a focus on technology or retail sectors.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed financial reconciliation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation) and financial software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIA).
- Experience with Apple's ecosystem, payment systems, or partner programs.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Previous experience in a Big Four or large consulting firm.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
