Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and helping others plan their dream getaways? Do you excel at sales and customer service, with a knack for crafting unforgettable itineraries? We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Virtual Travel Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for selling a wide array of holiday packages, flights, hotels, and other travel services directly to clients from the comfort of your home. You will leverage your excellent communication skills and travel knowledge to understand client needs, provide personalized recommendations, and close sales, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable booking experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and virtual platforms to identify travel needs and preferences.
  • Design and present customized holiday packages and travel itineraries that align with client budgets and desires.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, activities, and travel logistics.
  • Effectively communicate package details, terms, and conditions to clients.
  • Process bookings, payments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, destination information, and product offerings.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and sales activities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and online booking systems.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated passion for travel and geographical knowledge.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the travel industry, particularly in sales or booking roles.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Certification from a recognized travel industry association.
