Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Beach Seaweed Raking Laborer to join our team at The Marystown Bay Resort. This crucial early morning role ensures our beautiful private beach remains immaculate, free from seaweed and debris, enhancing the guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Perform early morning beach cleanup, primarily focusing on raking and removing seaweed and natural debris.
- Operate basic beach cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., rakes, wheelbarrows).
- Transport collected seaweed and debris to designated disposal areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of beach access points, chairs, and surrounding areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and resort policies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts, typically starting before sunrise.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including raking, lifting, and bending.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, wind, light rain).
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
