Job Description
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for precision and customer satisfaction? Best Buy Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TV Wall Mount Installer to join our dynamic Geek Squad team in Montreal. This role involves professional installation of various TV wall mounts, sound systems, and smart home devices in residential and commercial settings. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional installation of TV wall mounts, soundbars, and home theatre systems according to manufacturer specifications and customer preferences.
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess compatibility and plan installation strategy.
- Safely and efficiently mount TVs on various wall types (drywall, brick, plaster, concrete) using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manage and conceal cables for a clean and professional aesthetic.
- Educate customers on the operation of their newly installed equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional conduct.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Manage inventory of tools and parts, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Required Skills
- Proven technical proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for precise installations.
- Strong understanding of AV connectivity, cabling, and basic networking principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items (e.g., large TVs) and work in various positions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a TV installer, home theater technician, or in a similar skilled trade role.
- Certifications in AV installation or smart home technology.
- Knowledge of various TV brands and mounting hardware.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset for the Montreal market.
