Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Decluttering Coach to join our team, serving the local community in Olathe. This pivotal role involves leading clients through the entire decluttering and organizing process, from initial consultation to the implementation of sustainable systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of organizational principles, exceptional client communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve a more peaceful and productive living environment. As a Senior Coach, you will manage complex projects, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the growth and success of our local branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
- Develop and implement personalized decluttering and organizing plans for various areas of the home (kitchens, closets, offices, etc.).
- Lead hands-on organizing sessions, guiding clients through the decision-making process for keeping, donating, selling, or discarding items.
- Design and install functional and aesthetically pleasing storage solutions using various organizing products.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to clients to maintain their organized spaces.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Mentor and train junior decluttering coaches, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
- Represent NEAT Method at local community events and workshops.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism with all clients.
- Contribute to marketing efforts and client acquisition strategies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional organizing or coaching experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in decluttering methodologies and organizational systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and active listening.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in space planning and selection of organizing products.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenging spaces.
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized professional organizing association (e.g., NAPO).
- Experience with luxury clients or high-end residential projects.
- Portfolio showcasing previous organizing transformations.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, psychology, or a related field.
