Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and creating memorable customer experiences? Starbucks in Duncan is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to learn the art of coffee making and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced, friendly environment. No prior experience is required – we’ll provide all the training you need to become a skilled barista!
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master the art of espresso preparation, coffee brewing, and drink customization following Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, fast, and efficient service to all customers, taking orders and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including coffee machines, serving areas, and customer spaces.
- Assist with stocking shelves, rotating products, and managing inventory.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as warming pastries and preparing sandwiches.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and resolve any service issues politely.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

- Availability to work daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays.
