Job Description
Are you a friendly, energetic individual looking to kickstart your career in hospitality? Caffè Nero in Bath is seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. This full-time position offers consistent daytime hours and the convenience of weekly pay, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves interacting with people. You’ll be instrumental in creating a positive experience for our customers, ensuring our cafe remains a welcoming spot for the community. No prior experience is necessary – we’re looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Handle food preparation, including sandwiches, pastries, and snacks.
- Operate the till and handle cash and card payments with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the cafe, including the seating area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Restock inventory and ensure displays are well-presented.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
