Job Description
Join AWS as an AI Subtitle Verifier and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of subtitles for a wide range of digital media and video content. Leveraging advanced AI tools and your linguistic expertise, you will review, edit, and verify subtitles to meet our stringent quality standards, ensuring an exceptional viewing experience for our global audience. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of linguistic nuances, and a passion for digital media.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AI-powered tools and platforms to verify the accuracy, synchronization, and linguistic quality of subtitles for video content.
- Review and edit subtitles for grammatical correctness, spelling, punctuation, and style in English.
- Ensure subtitles adhere to client-specific guidelines, industry standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Identify and report potential issues or inconsistencies in AI-generated subtitles, contributing to the improvement of AI models.
- Collaborate with language specialists, project managers, and content creators to maintain high-quality output.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide constructive feedback on subtitle quality and process improvements.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with exceptional grammar and linguistic precision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors in text and synchronization.
- Proficiency with subtitle editing software and content management systems (CMS).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in natural language processing (NLP).
