Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Bike Couriers with a focus on weekend deliveries within Scottsdale’s Central Business District (CBD). As a Bike Courier, you will be an integral part of our delivery network, ensuring timely and safe transport of orders from local restaurants and businesses directly to our customers. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy staying active, navigating urban environments, and providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders and other items to customers using a bicycle.
- Navigate the CBD area of Scottsdale using maps and GPS applications.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, prioritizing personal and public safety.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, representing DoorDash positively.
- Communicate effectively with customers, merchants, and dispatch regarding order status or any issues.
- Handle orders with care to ensure quality and integrity upon delivery.
- Manage delivery times efficiently to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in riding a bicycle in urban environments.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Scottsdale's CBD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to use a smartphone for dispatch, navigation, and order management.
