Job Description

Bright Horizons is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Sitters in the Land O’ Lakes area. This is an immediate start position with no resume required – we’re looking for individuals with a big heart and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children, seniors, or pets as assigned.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities with children, fostering a safe and stimulating environment.
- Assist with light household tasks related to caregiving, such as meal preparation or tidying play areas.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care at all times.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding daily activities and any observations.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for caring for others.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to various household routines.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (formal or informal).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic knowledge of child development or elder care principles.
- Access to reliable transportation.
