Job Description
Are you a natural conversationalist with a passion for exceptional guest service and an eye for detail? Civello Salon & Spa is seeking a dynamic and friendly Nail Bar Host to join our Vaughan team on a flexible part-time basis. In this pivotal front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for our nail bar guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. This position requires someone who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, elegant environment. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests to the nail bar, offering beverages and ensuring their comfort.
- Manage the scheduling and booking of nail services, ensuring efficient flow and accurate record-keeping.
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions with precision.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the nail bar reception area and waiting lounge.
- Assist nail technicians with preparation and cleanup tasks as needed.
- Provide detailed information about our nail services, products, and promotions.
- Resolve guest concerns and provide excellent service recovery when necessary.
- Collaborate with the salon team to ensure a cohesive and positive guest experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and POS systems.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility to work various part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically within a nail salon or high-end beauty establishment.
- Familiarity with Aveda products and philosophy.
- Knowledge of current nail care trends and services.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Italian, Punjabi, Mandarin relevant to Vaughan demographics) is a plus.
