Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and highly organized individual to join our team as a Tools Management Tasker. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive organization, inventory, and maintenance of all tools within our operational garage. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, a methodical approach, and the ability to ensure tools are readily accessible and in good working order for our various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a systematic organization scheme for all tools in the garage, including power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain an accurate digital and physical record of all tools.
- Inspect tools for damage or wear and report any issues requiring repair or replacement.
- Clean and perform basic maintenance on tools as needed to ensure longevity and functionality.
- Ensure all tools are properly stored in their designated locations after use.
- Assist in the procurement process for new tools and replacement parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment within the garage.
- Train and guide other staff members on proper tool handling and storage procedures.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to categorize and manage a large inventory of items
- Basic knowledge of various hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift and move tools and equipment (up to 25 kg)
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for inventory management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, workshop, or garage environment
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols for tool handling and storage
- High school diploma or equivalent
