Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated WFH Order Entry Specialist to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office. As an Order Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction goals. You will be responsible for data entry, verifying order details, and collaborating with various departments to resolve any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to focus on intricate details, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into our internal systems from various sources, including online portals, email, and phone.
- Verify order information for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies by communicating with customers, sales teams, and other relevant departments.
- Maintain and update customer records with new order details and relevant information.
- Process order changes, cancellations, and returns as needed, ensuring all records are current.
- Generate order confirmations, invoices, and other related documentation.
- Assist with customer inquiries related to order status, delivery, and product availability.
- Adhere to strict data privacy and security protocols.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance order entry efficiency and accuracy.
- Meet daily and weekly order processing targets and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and strong typing speed with high accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space
Preferred Qualifications
