Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) Aide to join our Corporate Office team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a PBM Aide, you will play a crucial support role in the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy benefits management services. You will assist PBM specialists and managers with administrative tasks, data entry, report generation, and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in the healthcare or pharmacy industry, providing valuable exposure to the complexities of PBM operations and contributing to patient care indirectly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist PBM specialists with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing documents.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in PBM systems and databases.
  • Generate standard reports and compile data for analysis related to pharmacy claims, utilization, and cost trends.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., client services, clinical, IT) and external partners to gather necessary information.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
  • Research and summarize information on pharmacy benefit policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks.
