Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and collaborating closely with development teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects with clear and concise details.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality feedback.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices in test automation.
- Perform manual testing when necessary, to cover areas not yet automated or requiring exploratory testing.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
