Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Work From Home Meeting Note Taker to join our dynamic remote team. This is a crucial role for individuals who excel at active listening, efficient typing, and clear communication. As a Meeting Note Taker, you will be responsible for attending various virtual meetings, accurately capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items, and transcribing them into well-structured, comprehensive notes. Key Responsibilities
- Attend a variety of virtual meetings across different time zones, as scheduled.
- Actively listen and accurately capture all critical information, including discussions, decisions, and assigned actions.
- Transcribe meeting content into clear, concise, and well-organized notes using designated templates.
- Identify and document key takeaways, action items, owners, and deadlines.
- Proofread and edit notes for grammar, spelling, and factual accuracy before distribution.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all meeting content and sensitive information.
- Communicate effectively with meeting facilitators and participants for clarifications when necessary.
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for note submission.
- Utilize various virtual meeting platforms and digital collaboration tools proficiently.
Required Skills
- Exceptional active listening and comprehension skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
- High typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar note-taking, transcription, or administrative support role.
- Familiarity with various virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset, given the location.
