Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Aide with a passion for Green Tech to join our remote team. This role will support our environmental sustainability initiatives by assisting with data collection, research, and basic analysis related to our green technology deployments and environmental compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have an interest in logistics, sustainability, and be proficient in leveraging digital tools for environmental reporting. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, while being associated with our Cambridge, MA operational hub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection and organization of environmental data related to energy consumption, emissions, waste management, and green technology performance.
  • Conduct basic research on emerging green technologies, environmental regulations, and best practices relevant to the logistics industry.
  • Support the preparation of environmental reports and presentations using collected data and research findings.
  • Help monitor and track the performance of green tech initiatives, such as electric vehicle deployment or renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure compliance with internal environmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of environmental activities and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and reporting related to environmental performance.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and data management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability and green technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with environmental data analysis tools or software.
