Job Description
Join our esteemed team at The Grove Hotel as a Weekend Room Service Attendant. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately process room service orders via phone or in-person.
- Prepare trays with appropriate tableware, condiments, and menu items.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
- Present food and beverages professionally and explain menu items when necessary.
- Set up tables or serve items according to guest preferences and hotel standards.
- Clear used dishes, glassware, and serving equipment from guest rooms and hallways.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry and equipment.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure all food and beverage safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with inventory and restocking of room service supplies as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and delivery.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
