Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Think Tank Aide to join our dynamic research and advisory team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to contribute to impactful research, policy analysis, and strategic initiatives. The Think Tank Aide will provide essential support to senior researchers and consultants, assisting with data collection, literature reviews, report drafting, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize findings to support ongoing research projects.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources, including surveys, databases, and public records.
  • Assist in the drafting and editing of research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and other deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for research projects, meetings, and events.
  • Manage and maintain research databases and reference materials.
  • Support the preparation of grant applications, funding proposals, and project budgets.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Stay informed on current trends and developments relevant to the think tank's areas of focus.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, Business Administration).

  • Previous experience in a research-oriented role or academic setting (internships included).
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) or bibliographic management tools.
