Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part Time Warehouse Operative to join our team in Leicester. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and inspecting for damages.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and follow established procedures.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15 kg regularly.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic computer literacy to operate scanning devices.
