Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Weekend Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This part-time role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that Hilton is renowned for. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas on weekends, ensuring a pristine and comfortable environment for our visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linen and make beds, replenish amenities, and stock towels.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean all surfaces including bathrooms and mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items immediately to supervision.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment is used and stored properly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen.
- Maintain a clean and organized work cart and storage areas.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning role.
- Familiarity with hospitality cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
