Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Weather Data Annotator to join our remote science task team. In this part-time role, you will be crucial in improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our weather prediction models and climate analysis tools by carefully reviewing, categorizing, and annotating diverse weather-related datasets. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge scientific research from the comfort of your home. You will work with various types of weather data, ensuring consistency and quality for machine learning applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and label weather data, including satellite imagery, sensor readings, and textual weather reports, accordings to established guidelines.
  • Identify and categorize specific weather phenomena, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Perform quality checks on annotated data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide feedback on annotation guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and data integrity while working independently.
