Job Description

Join the Window Genie of Topeka team as a Gutter Cleaning Helper! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are reliable, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to safety. You will assist our lead technicians in providing thorough and efficient gutter cleaning services for residential and commercial clients. We provide all necessary safety gear, comprehensive training, and a supportive team environment. No prior experience is required – just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead technicians in all aspects of gutter cleaning, including setting up ladders and safety equipment.
  • Remove debris (leaves, twigs, mud, etc.) from gutters and downspouts.
  • Ensure proper disposal of collected debris.
  • Perform minor repairs or adjustments to gutters under supervision.
  • Clean up work areas thoroughly after each job, leaving properties spotless.
  • Maintain and care for company equipment and vehicles.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers in a professional manner.

Required Skills

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights on ladders (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures or a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in outdoor labor, construction, or general maintenance is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools.
