Job Description
Join FedEx as a Night Shift Package Handler and become a vital part of our fast-paced operations in Gunbarrel, Boulder, Colorado. This role offers high night differential pay, recognizing your commitment to our evening and overnight schedules. You will be responsible for the efficient sorting, loading, and unloading of packages, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and on time. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trucks and conveyor systems.
- Scan and sort packages accurately according to destination.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse tools.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient package flow.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Basic comprehension of English for safety instructions and job tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role (not required, but a plus).
