Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Part-time Warehouse Team Member in Pasco, Washington. This role offers a flexible roster, perfect for those seeking work-life balance while contributing to a fast-paced and essential operation. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our fulfillment process, ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers. We value safety, efficiency, and a positive team environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This is an on-site role within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and label items for safe and efficient delivery.
- Load and unload trucks manually or using material handling equipment (training provided).
- Operate scanners to track products and manage inventory.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Basic computer navigation skills (for operating scanners and internal systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not required, but a plus).
- Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) – certification not required, training will be provided.
