Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual IT Asset Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting entry-level, 100% remote opportunity for an individual passionate about logistics and information technology. You will be responsible for supporting the entire lifecycle of our IT assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all IT assets (hardware and software) within our asset management system.
  • Coordinate the procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement of IT equipment.
  • Perform regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist with software license management and compliance.
  • Liaise with IT support, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless asset management processes.
  • Generate reports on asset status, usage, and lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement asset management best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for IT-related projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

  • Basic understanding of IT hardware and software concepts.

  • A relevant certification or coursework in IT, logistics, or business administration.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management (ITAM) software or inventory systems.

  • Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role.
