Job Description
As a Remote AI Community Engagement Specialist focused on Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing the global community around Meta’s Artificial Intelligence initiatives. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that foster engagement, knowledge sharing, and advocacy among AI researchers, developers, enthusiasts, and partners. Your work will directly impact how Meta’s AI advancements are perceived, discussed, and adopted by a diverse global audience. You’ll be the voice of Meta AI across various social platforms, translating complex technical information into engaging content and facilitating meaningful conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to grow and engage Meta's AI community.
- Manage daily operations across key social platforms (e.g., X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook Groups, YouTube) related to Meta AI.
- Create compelling, high-quality content (text, image, video) that educates, inspires, and sparks discussion around AI topics.
- Monitor social channels for trends, sentiment, and opportunities to engage with the AI community.
- Respond to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, representing the Meta brand.
- Collaborate closely with AI research, engineering, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and amplify key announcements.
- Identify and engage with key influencers, thought leaders, and partners within the AI ecosystem.
- Analyze social media performance data, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize strategies.
- Organize and promote online events, webinars, and discussions related to Meta AI advancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media management and community building, ideally within the technology or AI sector.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging content.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related concepts.
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience working directly with AI research teams or developer communities.
- Familiarity with community management platforms and CRM tools.
