Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients, medical records, and equipment between various departments.
- Assist clinical staff with moving patients to and from beds, trolleys, and wheelchairs.
- Collect and deliver medical supplies, specimens, and linen throughout the hospital.
- Ensure timely movement of urgent items and respond promptly to requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and good order of trolleys and other portering equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Undertake assigned training modules and complete all apprenticeship requirements.
