Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash levels.
  • Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch as needed.
  • Educate customers on self-service banking options and digital tools.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cash handling or a customer service role.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
  • Experience with banking software and systems.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
