Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash levels.
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch as needed.
- Educate customers on self-service banking options and digital tools.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cash handling or a customer service role.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience with banking software and systems.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
