Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Shopify Specialist to join our growing Digital Marketing team, focusing specifically on Influencer and Affiliate Management. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing our influencer marketing and affiliate programs across our Shopify-powered e-commerce platforms. You will identify key influencers and partners, negotiate collaborations, manage campaigns from conception to reporting, and drive measurable growth in brand awareness and sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, digital marketing trends, and a proven track record in building successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive influencer and affiliate marketing strategies to support e-commerce growth objectives.
- Identify, vet, recruit, and onboard relevant influencers and affiliate partners aligned with our brand values and target audience.
- Negotiate contracts, compensation models, and deliverables with influencers and affiliates.
- Manage day-to-day communication and relationships with partners, ensuring timely content delivery and compliance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of influencer and affiliate campaigns using relevant metrics and tools.
- Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, identifying opportunities for improvement and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform changes (especially Shopify), and best practices in influencer and affiliate marketing.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to integrate campaigns effectively.
- Manage budgets and reconcile invoices related to influencer and affiliate programs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in digital marketing with a focus on influencer or affiliate management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform and its functionalities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and affiliate partners.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency with influencer marketing platforms, affiliate networks, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms or marketplaces.
- Familiarity with PR and media relations.
- A passion for retail, food, and grocery industry trends.
- Experience in the Canadian market.
