Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Traffic Controllers. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity with full paid training provided, ensuring you are equipped with all the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this critical role. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and equipment within designated operational areas, contributing directly to the smooth flow of port activities. Key Responsibilities
- Direct and control the movement of vehicular traffic and heavy equipment within port facilities and designated work zones.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, operators, and other personnel using standard signals and communication devices.
- Monitor traffic flow and identify potential hazards or congestion points, taking proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- Implement and enforce traffic management plans and safety protocols.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly to supervisors.
- Assist with setting up and removing temporary traffic control devices as needed.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and attention to detail at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a role requiring traffic direction or coordination (e.g., construction flagger, parking attendant)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
