Job Description
As a Shopify Specialist with a focus on Home & Garden E-commerce, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our online store built on the Shopify platform. You will ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers, driving sales and brand loyalty. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, e-commerce best practices, and a keen eye for detail to maintain product accuracy and website functionality. You will collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, and IT teams to implement new features, campaigns, and improvements specific to the home & garden category.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Shopify e-commerce platform, including product listings, collections, pages, and blog content, with a specific emphasis on home & garden products.
- Implement and optimize Shopify apps and integrations to enhance functionality, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Ensure all product information, imagery, and pricing for home & garden items are accurate, compelling, and up-to-date.
- Perform routine website audits for broken links, errors, and performance issues, resolving them promptly.
- Assist in the execution of SEO strategies, including meta descriptions, product tags, and content optimization.
- Monitor website analytics and sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product introductions relevant to the home & garden sector.
- Provide technical support and training for internal teams on Shopify features and best practices.
- Stay informed on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and competitor activities to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Shopify e-commerce stores.
- Proficiency in Shopify's admin panel, theme customization, and app ecosystem.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor theme adjustments.
- Proven ability to manage product catalogs, inventory, and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret e-commerce data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Shopify Certifications (e.g., Shopify Partner Certification).
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or PIM integrations with Shopify.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices specific to e-commerce.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and email platforms.
- A passion for home improvement, gardening, and outdoor living products.
