Job Description

Are you meticulously organized with a keen eye for detail? Canadian Tire in North York is seeking a dedicated Tools Management Tasker to bring order and efficiency to our garage and workshop areas. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys a structured environment and takes pride in a well-maintained workspace. You will be responsible for inventorying, organizing, and ensuring the proper storage and accessibility of a wide range of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory, catalog, and label all tools and equipment within the garage facility.
  • Develop and implement an efficient organizational system for tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Ensure all tools are stored correctly and securely, preventing loss or damage.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure tools are in good working condition and report any defects or missing items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the garage and workshop areas.
  • Assist in the procurement process for new tools and replacement parts as needed.
  • Support other facility management tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of common hand and power tools.
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for inventory tracking (e.g., spreadsheets).

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, garage, or inventory management role.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a workshop environment.
