Job Description
Join the ISS Facility Services team as a Part-Time Commercial Cleaner for a consistent morning shift. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our client’s office space in Windsor, ON. This is a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant and healthy environment for office staff, working independently during the early hours of the day. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of office areas, hallways, and common spaces.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean glass surfaces and internal windows.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning.
- Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor buffers).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (asset).
