Job Description
Join the GDI Integrated Facility Services team as a Tile Grout Cleaning Assistant. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy manual labor, and take pride in delivering sparkling clean results. You will be responsible for the specialized cleaning and maintenance of tile and grout surfaces in various commercial and industrial settings, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and restoration of tile and grout surfaces using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Remove dirt, grime, stains, and mildew from grout lines and tile surfaces.
- Apply sealants and protective coatings to treated surfaces to extend longevity and maintain appearance.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as high-pressure steamers, rotary scrubbers, and extractors.
- Inspect treated areas to ensure quality standards are met and address any missed spots or imperfections.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Properly mix and dispose of cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the supervisor.
- Work efficiently and independently or as part of a team to complete tasks within allocated timeframes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent service to clients.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safe chemical handling.

Preferred Qualifications
