Job Description
Townhouse is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Part-time Sterilisation Assistant with a strong focus on hygiene to join our Camden team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilisation for all nail care tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our clients and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to health and safety protocols will be vital to our operations. This position requires someone who is proactive, organised, and understands the importance of immaculate presentation and sanitation in a luxury service setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sterilise all nail care tools and equipment using industry-standard protocols and machinery (e.g., autoclaves, UV sterilizers).
- Monitor and maintain sterilisation logs and ensure all equipment is ready for use.
- Organise and manage inventory of sterilised tools and supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the sterilisation area and supply closets.
- Assist with general salon cleaning and organisation as needed, ensuring all areas meet hygiene standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and salon policies.
- Support the nail technicians by ensuring a continuous supply of clean and sterilised tools.
