Job Description
We are actively seeking a skilled and highly motivated Stand-up Forklift Operator for an immediate opening at our New Port Richey distribution center. This is an urgent hire for a crucial role in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating stand-up forklifts, dedicated to safety, and ready to contribute to efficient warehouse operations from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move, stack, and retrieve pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles with products and materials.
- Transport products and materials to designated areas in the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately scan and log inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain proper storage of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience operating a stand-up forklift.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a logistics, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
