Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent Soft Fruit Pickers for the upcoming season at our extensive farm in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for seasonal work, particularly those eligible for seasonal worker visas. The role involves picking a variety of soft fruits, primarily strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards. This is a physically demanding outdoor role, requiring dedication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Full training will be provided, and we offer a supportive environment for all our seasonal workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick a variety of soft fruits (e.g., strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) by hand, following specific picking instructions.
- Inspect fruit for quality, size, and ripeness, discarding any unsuitable produce.
- Place picked fruit into trays or punnets without causing damage.
- Work efficiently and consistently to meet daily picking targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and farm policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with supervisors and colleagues.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (sun, rain, heat).
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications
