Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service? Concentrix is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Travel & Tourism Agents to join our remote team, specializing in booking travel arrangements. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with their travel needs, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and package deals. Your primary focus will be on accurately and efficiently booking reservations, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring a seamless travel planning experience from start to finish. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and online inquiries from customers seeking travel information and bookings.
  • Utilize various booking systems (GDS, airline, hotel, car rental portals) to research and secure travel arrangements.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on destinations, travel packages, and deals.
  • Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify travel itineraries and send confirmations to customers.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints related to bookings or travel plans promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
  • Adhere to company policies, client guidelines, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Achieve individual and team performance targets for customer satisfaction and booking volume.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Strong proficiency in computer navigation and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
  • Knowledge of international geography and popular travel destinations.
  • Post-secondary education in tourism, hospitality, or a related field.
