Job Description
Are you passionate about coffee and dedicated to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment? Costa Coffee is seeking a Quick Service Drink Specialist – Espresso & Cold Brew to join our vibrant team in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. In this role, you will be the heart of our beverage service, responsible for expertly preparing a wide range of espresso-based drinks and refreshing cold brews, ensuring every customer receives a high-quality product with a smile. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve all espresso-based beverages, cold brews, and other drinks to Costa Coffee's quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and front-of-house area.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, reporting needs to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store.

- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar quick-service beverage role.
- Knowledge of various coffee types and brewing methods.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
