Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Sitters to join our afternoon roster in Georgetown, Washington D.C. This role is ideal for high school students seeking meaningful part-time work, offering flexible hours primarily in the late afternoon and early evening. You will provide engaging and safe care for children in various family settings, helping with homework, organizing activities, and ensuring a positive experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in childcare, develop responsibility, and become a trusted part of our community support network.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, fostering a safe and stimulating environment.
- Assist with homework and school projects, providing encouragement and support.
- Prepare light snacks or simple meals as directed by parents.
- Maintain a tidy and organized play area.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding their child's day.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Required Skills
