Job Description
Join Target’s dynamic team as a Shipping Dock Runner in Glendale, CA! This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics and warehouse operations. As a Shipping Dock Runner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient flow of goods on our shipping and receiving docks. You will be responsible for moving merchandise, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring the dock area remains organized and safe. This role requires immediate availability and offers comprehensive training, making it perfect for someone eager to learn and grow within a leading retail company.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move incoming and outgoing merchandise between the dock area and storage locations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accurate handling of products.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving dock environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Verify product counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Support the shipping and receiving team with various tasks to ensure timely processing of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items consistently (up to 50 lbs).
