Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate individuals looking to start a rewarding career in senior care. As a Senior Care Assistant at Home Instead, you will provide essential non-medical support, companionship, and assistance to seniors in their homes within your local Berkeley suburb. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, tidying, and meal preparation.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Communicate regularly with office staff regarding client status and needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior.
Required Skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (essential for home care).
