Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Remote Content Coordinator with a strong focus on blog and media to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the creation, scheduling, and distribution of engaging content across our various channels, particularly our blog and external media placements. You will work closely with content strategists, writers, editors, and external partners to ensure timely and effective content delivery that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the content production workflow for blog posts, articles, and other media assets from conception to publication.
  • Manage content calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met and content is scheduled appropriately.
  • Assist in editing, proofreading, and optimizing blog content for clarity, grammar, and SEO best practices.
  • Support the distribution of content across various platforms, including our website, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Liaise with external media contacts, freelancers, and internal teams to facilitate content collaboration and outreach.
  • Track content performance metrics and assist in generating reports to inform future content strategy.
  • Organize and maintain content assets in our content management system (CMS).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing and digital media.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in content coordination or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot CMS).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience with HubSpot's marketing platform.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for basic image creation/editing.
  • Experience with social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous content coordination or writing samples.
