Key Responsibilities
- Craft a variety of espresso-based and cold brew beverages according to Starbucks' quality standards and recipes.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to all customers, taking orders accurately and processing transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and operational.
- Educate customers on menu items, coffee beans, and promotional offers.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, managing inventory to minimize waste.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling and preparation procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Prior experience in a customer service or food service role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous barista experience, particularly with espresso machines and cold brew systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passion for coffee and knowledge of different brewing methods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
