Job Description
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and customer-focused Remote Apple Expert to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work from home, providing top-tier technical support and guidance on a wide range of Apple products to our customers across the UK. You will be provided with all necessary equipment (‘Oprema’) to perform your role effectively. If you’re passionate about Apple technology and excel at problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for Apple products including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watch, and associated software/services (iOS, macOS, iCloud, Apple services).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely through various channels (phone, chat, email).
- Guide customers through setup, configuration, and feature usage of Apple devices.
- Educate customers on best practices for device maintenance, security, and data management.
- Document all interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately and thoroughly.
- Stay current with the latest Apple products, software updates, and industry trends.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support engineers when necessary.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise with Apple hardware and software ecosystems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly and patiently to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in remote diagnostic tools and customer support software.
- A dedicated, quiet home office space with reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) certification.
- Previous experience in a remote technical support role.
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing tools.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Welsh) is a plus.
