Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Matching Verifier to join our remote E-commerce Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our vast e-commerce datasets. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies, contributing directly to the reliability of our analytical insights and operational efficiency. This is a crucial position for maintaining high-quality data that drives business decisions and enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed data verification and matching across various e-commerce datasets.
- Identify and investigate inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in product, customer, and transaction data.
- Utilize internal tools and systems to correct and reconcile data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product management, and analytics teams to understand data flows and resolve root causes of data quality issues.
- Document findings, data issues, and resolutions comprehensively.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of data quality best practices and verification processes.
- Provide feedback on tool enhancements and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in data entry, data verification, data quality, or a similar analytical role.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and database principles.
