Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Quick Service Dining Aide to join our Food and Nutrition Services team. This role focuses on providing excellent dining experiences during morning and day shifts, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service in our quick-service dining areas. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to a positive and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes, portion control guidelines, and dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all quick-service dining areas, including serving stations, countertops, and dining tables.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warmers safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and rotating food items.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, responding to inquiries and special requests promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations, including proper food handling and temperature control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
