Job Description

Domino’s in the vibrant Short North Arts District is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Pizza Prep Assistant. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills you need to succeed. As a Pizza Prep Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, workstations are clean, and pizzas are prepared to Domino’s high standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of toppings according to Domino's recipes and standards.
- Accurately assemble pizzas, sandwiches, and other menu items following specific order instructions.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and kitchen area at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and rotating ingredients.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portion control.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or customer service role is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
